Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is all set to launch in India on July 18 in New Delhi at 11.30 AM. The company has started to send out the media invites already with the tag line “Big is Back”.
Xiaomi has announced the Mi Max 2 in China market back in May priced starting at CNY 1,699 (approx Rs. 16,100).
Last year Mi Max was announced by Xiaomi with two highlighted features the one is a mammoth battery of 5000mAh and the second is its bigger screen of 6.44 inches.
This time again Xiaomi is going to set their standard by launching Mi Max 2 with same highlighted feature a bigger screen and the mammoth battery. Fortunately the battery this time is bigger than the last one.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Specifications:
Xiaomi Mix Max 2 features a 6.44icnhes Full HD (1920*1080) display with a massive battery of 5300mAh. Follows the metal unibody design with a fingerprint scanner on its back.
Apart from the bigger display and battery, the Mi Max 2 is packed with an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with two different storage of 64GB and 128GB but it is not confirmed yet whether both variants coming to India or not.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a 12-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture, PDAF with dual LED Flash. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone packed with 5300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 which company claims it can last up to 2 days.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type C. The Mi Max 2 runs on Android Nougat based on MIUI 8 on top.
In China, Xiaomi Mix Max 2 has launched in two different variants i.e, 64GB and 128GB with a price tag of CNY1,1699 (Approx.Rs.16,100) and CNY1,999 (Approx.Rs.18,900). Hopefully, in India, we will be expecting the similar prices for both the variants.
