Xiaomi has launched its first dual camera smartphone with a pure stock Android user interface in India, called the Xiaomi Mi A1. This is the first globally launched Android One smartphone made by Xiaomi. The Xiaomi Mi A1 (4GB + 16GB) will be available exclusively on Flipkart and Mi.com with a price tag of Rs 14,999 starting September 12, 2017, at 12 PM. Later on, the smartphone will also be available at all offline stores along with Mi Home across India. Additionally, Airtel subscribers will also get 200GB 4G data with Xiaomi Mi A1.

Display & Design
The Xiaomi Mi A1 has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display with gorilla glass protection. The smartphone boasts with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.0 GHz coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB on internal memory. The storage can be expandable up to 128GB via using second SIM slot. The smartphone runs on pure stock Android 7.1.2 nougat and planned to upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo. It measures 155.4 x 75.8 x 7.3 mm and weighs 165grams. The smartphone comes in three colors Black, Rose Gold and Gold.
The main highlight feature on Xiaomi Mi A1 is its dual camera setup. Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with the dual 12MP camera on the rear. Out of two, one is a telephoto lens for 2x optical zoom and another one is a 26mm wide-angle lens. Additionally, it has features such as PDAF, HDR adjustments, Panorama, continuous shooting mode and dual tone dual LED flash. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and beautify mode with 36smart beauty profiles. The smartphone is capable to shoot 4K videos at 30fps as well as slow motion video on 720p at 120fps.

Xiaomi Mi A1 packed with a 3000mAh non-removable battery and supports 5V 2A charging via USB type C connector. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and GLONASS. Sensors include an Infrarred sensor, ambient light, gyroscope, accelerometer, a fingerprint sensor (rear-mounted), and proximity sensor.
