Xiaomi Sold 25 Million Smartphones in India in Three Years of Journey

Xiaomi India has set another record in the Indian smartphone market. The company has so far sold more than 2.5 billion smartphones in India. On Friday, Xiaomi announced via Twitter that the company has sold more than 25 million smartphones in the Indian market so far. Remember that the company launched its first product in India in July 2014, about three years ago.

Apart from this, Xiaomi India has claimed that the company has done the fastest thing. On the basis of these figures, it can be said that in the last three years, the company has managed to sell an average of 22,000 phones every day.

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has stepped into the Indian market through Xiaomi Mi3. It was launched in 2014. Since then the company has been making tremendous success in the economical range. Xiaomi India had just announced last month that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been the best-selling smartphone ever. The company has sold more than 5 million Redmi Note 4 smartphones till date.

After stepping into the Indian market, Xiaomi’s focus was on the budget smartphone segment. There is a tremendous demand for Xiaomi Redmi 4A in India. More than two and a half million phones were sold in just 4 minutes in the first flash sale. Initially, the company only paid attention to online sales. But gradually now it is spreading its presence in the offline market too.
