Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, also introduced the iPhone X (iPhone 10) along with iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. This handset is equipped with a number of new technologies which include an uninterrupted display, wireless charging and Face ID.
iPhone X Key Features
The first gifting feature in the iPhone X is its display. The handset has a 5.8-inch infinity display. The resolution of the screen is 1125×2436 pixels that have not yet been seen in an iPhone model. The company has named it a super retina display.
Company officials say that the iPhone X smartphone is the future of the world. Touch ID (fingerprint sensor) has been removed from this phone which has been part of the Home button till now. In order to protect user data, the company has made Face ID feature a part of the phone. Now users will be able to unlock the phone by looking at the front camera. Special hardware and algorithm have been claimed that Face ID is faster and safer than Touch ID.
On the rear side of the iPhone X, there is a 12-megapixel dual rear camera. A sensor is a f/1.8 aperture and the telephoto lens is f/2.4 aperture. You will get a 7-megapixel selfie camera on the phone. The company has said that it is making Portrait Mode feature a part of this phone too.
iPhone X Price and Availability
There will be two storage variants of iPhone X i.e. 64 GB and 256 GB. The cost of low-storage variants is $999 in the US market and the variant of 256 GB storage variant is worth $1,149. Speaking of the Indian market, the price of this smartphone will start from Rs 89,000. Pre-order booking of this handset in many international markets, including India, will start from October 27. You will able to buy iPhone X in shops from November 3.
