Huawei’s flagship Honor 10 launched in India: 19:9 display, 24MP Selfie Camera, Kirin 970 & more

Huawei’s sub-brand honor has launched its latest flagship smartphone Honor 10 globally at an event in London. The smartphone was first launched in China last month, now the device is ready to ship other countries as well. The Huawei Honor 10 is the cheapest version of Honor P20. The highlighted feature of this smartphone is its Dual Real Camera, 24-megapixel selfie camera with Al technology and ultrasonic under the glass fingerprint scanner.

The Honor 10 sports a 5.84-inch 19:9 Full HD+ (1080x2280px) display with Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone has a new Aurora glass design which reflects vivid colors from every direction and smartphone frame made of aluminum combined with glass on both front and back. The Honor 10 is powered by in-house octa-core Kirin 970 SoC that cloaks at 4×2.4 GHz A73 cores and 4×1.8 GHz A53 cores. The Honor 10 has two variants 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM. There is no memory expansion slot.

Coming to the highlighted feature of the smartphone, its camera. The honor 10 comes with a dual rear camera setup 16-megapixel with aperture f/1.8 and 24-megapixel black & white sensor with PDAF and LED flash. The smartphone is capable to detect 500+ scenarios and Bokeh effect in Real-Time. Further, the 24-megapixel selfie camera with enhanced light-sensitivity senor and light fusion technology delivers amazing selfies even in low-light.

The Honor 10 runs on EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone packed with a 3400mAH Li-Po non-removable battery with Honor fast charging support.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac Dual Band, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS, NFC. Senors include accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass, infrared and fingerprint sensor on the front.

Honor 10 price in India and launch offers

In India, the Honor 10 is priced at Rs 32,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and company has decided to not launch 4GB and 64GB internal storage variant in India. The smartphone comes with attractive launch offers, such as the consumer can exchange its old honor smartphone and get up to Rs. 5,000 off. Additionally, on the exchange of non-honor device, the consumers get off up to Rs. 3000. These two exchange offers only valid from May 16 to May 18.

Further, axis bank debit and credit card users will get 10% instant discount at the time of purchase, it is also applicable on EMI transactions. Bajaj Finserv card user can buy Honor 10 on no-cost EMI. Jio users will get 100GB additional data and Rs. 3,300 worth of vouchers.

The Honor 10 is available exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone has two color options, Midnight Black and Phantom Blue.
