Huawei has launched its latest mid-range smartphone Honor V9 Play in China. The cost of 3GB RAM variant of the Honor V9 play is 999 Chinese yuan (about 9,800 Indian Rupees) and the price of 4 GB RAM variant is 1,199 Chinese yuan (around 11,800 Indian Rupees). The smartphone is available for pre-order in China and its sale will begin on September 12. This smartphone will be available in four color variants, Gold, Rose Gold, Blue and Black color.

Honor V9 Play comes with a metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor on the back side of the phone. The company is claiming that the phone can be unlocked within 0.2 seconds. This smartphone has a 5.2 inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD 2.5D Gorilla Glass display. The screen’s pixel density is 282 PPI. The phone has a MediaTek MT 6750 octa-core processor and T860 GPU for the graphics. The phone has 3 GB / 4GB RAM. Internal storage is 32 GB which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
As for optics, the phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, aperture f/2.0, 5P lens. There is an 8-megapixel camera with an aperture f/2.2 to selfie and video chat.
Honor V9 Play runs on EMUI 5.1 OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat. This smartphone has hybrid dual SIM slot. The dimensions of the phone are 147.9 × 73.2 × 7.65 millimeters and weighing 145 grams. In addition to the 4G VoLTE in the phone, there are features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Micro-USB, and GLONASS.
There is a 3000mAh battery to power the smartphone and company claimed that it will give 16 hours of talk time and standby time of up to 15 days. Gravity, ambient light sensor, fingerprint, and compass are also given on the phone
