Gionee M6 Lite launched with 5 inch display, 3GB RAM and 4000mAh battery

Gionee has launched its new smartphone the Gionee M6 in Kenya for KSh 19,999 (approx $197). 

Gionee had launched Gionee M6 and M6 Plus in China in June earlier this year. The smartphone has been launched in partnership with Kilimall, a leading online retailer.

The Gionee M6 Lite comes with a 5 inch full HD (1080 X 1920 pixels), measures 152.3 x 75.3 x 8.2mm and weighs 180 grams with 2.5D curved glass on the front. Under the hood, it has a 1.8 GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Amigo 3.2 UI.

Coming to the camera, so it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 lens, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), Panorama, Exmor-RS CMOS sensor. On the front, it has 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and screen flash. The smartphone has 3GB RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and 256GB expandable memory slot for a micro SD card. Besides, the M6 Lite offers a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging technology.

For connectivity, the smartphone features 4G LTE Cat 4 150/50 Mbps, LTE Cat 6 300/50 Mbps OR LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800), dual sim, WiFi, GPS/AGPS, micro USB and Bluetooth. 

In Kenya, it costs Ksh 19,999 ( $197 USD approx.). In Black Friday Sale starting from November 24, 2016, the smartphone will be sold at an attractive price of Ksh 13,999 ($138 USD approx.).

The Global availability of the M6 Lite yet not disclosed by the company.
