Asus has launched its ZenFone AR smartphone with 8GB of RAM that supports for Google’s Tango augmented reality platform as well as Daydream-ready at CES 2017 earlier this year and it seems like the company is now preparing to launch the handset finally in India.
The company is now sending out the press invites to the media for an event scheduled on July 13 with the #DareToDream hashtag, the same that is also using social media to tease the ZenFone AR earlier.
The Asus ZenFone AR packed with a 23-megapixel augmented camera Sony IMX318 module on the rear with 4-axis Optical Image Stabilisation. On the front, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone camera arrangement allows us to track motion, depth perception, and area learning.
The ZenFone AR features a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels (2K) and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. The headset comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage and can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card in a hybrid slot which is Micro+Nano.
