Lenovo has launched its ZUK branded new flagship smartphone called ZUK Edge at an event in China on Tuesday
Lenovo’s ZUK Edge features a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top and 401ppi. It has 86.4% screen-to-body ratio and 1.63mm narrow frame. Inside it gets a Snapdragon 821 SoC clocked at 2.35GHz paired with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes in two variant one is with 4GB of RAM and the other one is with massive 6GB of RAM but having the same internal storage of 64GB (UFS 2.0).
It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with 1.34-micron pixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor and PDAF + CAF dual focus modes for quick 0.1-second auto focus, a f/2.2 aperture, LED-Flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera with a 1.12-micron pixel sensor, and a f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS/ A-GPS. The Zuk Edge sports 3100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Fingerprint sensor at the front that unlocks the phone in just 0.09 seconds. It also has a heart rate sensor on the back that can measure blood oxygen levels. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with ZUI 2.5 on top.
Price, Color, and Availability
The ZUK Edge comes in Ceramic White and Titanium Black colors and is priced at 2299 yuan (US$ 330 / Rs. 22460 approx.) for the 4GB RAM version and the 6GB RAM version costs 2499 yuan (US$ 360 / Rs.24,420 approx.). The Pre-order is starting from today and goes on sale from January 1st.
The company has not revealed any information on the global availability yet.
